But the brand has a much deeper connection with the festival: Bud was the first Lollapalooza official beer, that happened in 91’, in the United States. We thought that it was a great opportunity to show our connection with indie music and the alternative scene of the 90's, specially because, as we can see anywhere we look, the 90's are back. Based on that, we also launched an online game where people could get their tickets (if they're lucky enough) by slapping a VCR. Plus, a chance to get into the festival as a volunteer: people could sign up to become the “Wi-Fi Guardian” at the Backstage, the “Bud Provider" on the main Stage, or many other incredible job positions. As the story unfolds, our two beloved letters go through several attempts, until they discover the simplest of all: moving their little arms up and down, creating wind. "10 years of W+K: Grow up - what for?" was a project in which the concept and all the illustrations were made with own hands inside the agency. And it also sparked my passion for screen printing. At a festival made in Rio de Janeiro, we followed a band in real time on Instagram Stories, going from rehearsal to showtime. After this, the content was reissued and became a mini doc about the festival. The whole visual identity was also made by us.
